Spirit of Independence Honorees
2005 Spirit of Independence Award Honoree
Congratulations to this year's Spirit of Independence honoree MG Power.
MG was presented with the Spirit of Independence Award for her tireless
advocacy work for people with disabilities. Her position as Coordinator
at the Westchester Institute for Human Development, and her life-long
commitment as a parent of a child with a disability and the numerous
committees and advisory councils she has served on in order to promote
independence for people with disabilities makes her so deserving to
receive this award.
