Spirit of Independence Awards 2009 - Journal Ads, Sponsorships and Tickets:

A Souvenir Journal will commemorate the evening and the honorees’ contributions to bettering the lives of people with disabilities. The journal will be distributed at the dinner as well as to all sponsors and advertisers. We hope that you will support WDOMI and our honorees by placing an ad in our keepsake journal. An ad can be in the form of a congratulatory message or just your name. This is a good way to show your appreciation for our honorees and to WDOMI. Please note the deadline for these ads is October 1, 2009. We have enclosed an advertising reservation form for your convenience.

The mission of the agency is to provide information and advocacy services, which allow people with disabilities to make decisions about their lives and empower them to live independently with dignity in their own homes. This is the credo of independent living. Your support ensures the continuance of the core services of WDOMI, which are unique to Westchester County: information and referral, housing consultation, benefits advisement and advocacy, and peer counseling. Our independent living center is founded on these services and the professionals with disabilities who provide them.
