Volunteer at Westchester Disabled On the Move!

At WDOMI, we are always looking for qualified, dedicated volunteers to help us further our cause. Do you have some spare time and a desire to help us? If so, please see below.

The following are areas in which we can use your help:

Phone work:		Follow-up communications for workshop, meeting and event attendance

Clerical/Office work:		Photocopying and faxing Light typing and computer data input Assembling mass-mailings Light administrative duties as needed

Event Volunteers:		Help out at our Spirit of Independence Awards Dinner on Thursday, October 11th, 2007. This high-energy special event will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in White Plains. We need enthusiastic, personable, dependable volunteers to assist with on-site logistics and management, including the following assignments: Check-in, Reception and Badging, accepting payments, placement of promotional and decorative materials in the ballroom, selling raffle tickets during cocktail hour and dinner, assisting honored guests as needed, traffic control and direction inside hotel, and other assignments as needed. The dinner is fast-paced and FUN!
